Haoyi Chen focuses his practices on helping companies to solve their intellectual property issues from each of their business needs, including but not not limited to domestic and international patent/trademark application and protection strategies, IP right disputes and litigation, and trade secret protections. He consults e-commerce companies in finding cost-effective ways to settle IP disputes, and to protect and enforce their own IP rights. He also advises high-tech start-ups, especially those in bio-tech fields, in issues involving investments, IP protection, tech transfer and licensing, and contract drafting including but not limited to NDAs and CRO agreements.
Haoyi is also familiar with CFIUS and US Export Control regulations, and have consulted clients on compliance thereto.
