Hao Tan is an Intellectual Property attorney with more than 10 years of experience. He works closely with clients in Asia and the U.S. to obtain IP protection all over the world. His technical experience and language skills are invaluable to his clients in a global marketplace.

Hao’s practice is focused on all aspects of patent law in electrical engineering and medical imaging systems. In addition, Hao also helps startups and international companies to grow their businesses by providing practical and effective advice on IP related issues.

Hao has drafted freedom-to-operate, non-infringement, patentability, and invalidity opinions. In addition to his prosecution work, he provides advice to prospective and existing clients about patent strategies in the U.S. and China. He has handled patent appeals before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
