Job Duties:

Discuss and analyze invention disclosure with clients.

Work with Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) patent applications.

Draft and prosecute U.S. and PCT patent applications in the technology areas of electronic hardware, computer software, electronic devices.

Analyze various office actions issued by the USPTO and draft well-reasoned and organized responses with appropriate legal citations in the technology areas of electronic hardware, computer software, electronic devices, etc.

Conduct interviews with Patent Examiner regarding prosecuting U.S. and PCT patent applications in the technology areas of electronic hardware, computer software, electronic devices, etc.

Assist attorney to conduct legal research and draft legal memorandums and briefs on patent infringement cases before courts.

Assist attorney to perform document review and production in patent infringement cases before courts.

Assist attorney to draft legal opinions, memos, claim charts, and contentions with respect to patent invalidation, etc.

Assist attorney to draft post grant review and inter partes review petitions and responses before USPTO.

Foreign equivalent degree allowed.
Minimum Requirements (must meet all):
-
Master’s degree in an engineering field;
-
24 months of patent prosecution experience in computer science and electrical engineering patents;

Passed the Patent Bar Examination.
